The items present are those of the hard drives available at three sizes of 20GB or 60 GB or 120 GB; memory cards also of three sizes; Gamercize and dance mats to exercise; faceplates which you can use to customize at your will; you can use the headsets and the webcam for voice or video chatting; and any other item present will add to the style of the device. The system has the port where the hard drive can fit in. The central processing unit of the system is Xenon (triple-core) designed by IBM.

The main memory is of the size of 512 MB. The graphics processor is of ATI Xenos. It has the eDRAM of the size of 10 MB. All these are the basic hardware parts of an Xbox 360 system. Now coming to the software parts of an Xbox 360 system. XNA community is the feature that will be added to the system so that the owners of the Xbox 360 can get the specially developed games. Dashboard forms a very significant part of the Xbox 360. The initial graphical user interface of the Xbox 360 was that of the Dashboard. This interface is known to have 5 ‘blades’ and the whole structure are created by AKQA.

The new look of the system was developed and it is called as “New Xbox Experience”. The Dashboard software has been updated to several different versions. With the introduction with so many different versions the console is getting many new characteristics and users will find the features quite exciting. The major advantages are those of the increased functionality of the Xbox Live and the playback functions of the multimedia also enhanced. The multimedia parts of an Xbox 360 system are also advanced allowing playing of videos, music and viewing pictures in different formats.
